Abstract Flowers
"Meaning: The colors and shapes represent flowers. Process: This actually is a photo I took of the San Antonio Art League and Museum building in south San Antonio, an art association where I am a member. I edited the colors and texture in Photoshop and then began experimenting with some options in Boris Optics. Besides editing the colors quite a bit, I tried applying the Optics Stylize S_Autopaint filter at 100% and this is the amazing result! The filter abstracted the image so much that to me appears to represent flowers. There were some flowers on the left side of the original image, and what resembles a large flower in the center was actually a red foliage tree in the original photo. I continued to edit the colors, saturation and texture a little for the final version that I submitted. Inspiration: My goal had been to create some abstract images from my photographs and this one did accomplish that."
