"This piece was first a structural piece of a bridge and pier, but eventually was rotated for a more interesting abstract. I brayer black oil paint in a dominate structure, add pastel and respond to what shows up. This was inspired by time I recently spent at a bridge where the Willamette River meets the Pacific Ocean."
