"The vines and shapes are filled w/colors of life using cut photos of flowers to create pods filled w/life seeds climbing up the vines. I love studying how plants grow and reach for the sky. This painting was originally a painting in acrylic w/solid colors. My new process of mosaic painting created an idea of bringing life back to the painting. I added pieces of cut photos of flowers to create a more vivid and textural feeling, like actual seeds within the pods. I always am in awe of how plants can come back to life after a fire or floods."
