A Moment to Be Still

"One of my favorite happy sketchbook spreads filled with imagination from when I started re-discovering my analog painting voice one scribble at a time during 2019. These are words I wrote through it's many hours process: I find peace and stillness in my blobs and scribbles, Slowly building upon, going from happily imagining flowers to frustration for my lack of accuracy. Deep breath, I remind myself to just be, and trust the process even if I end up not liking the result. I keep going... I see someone peeking, and it's innocent and free, he is finding the night falling, and a moment to be still. Surrendering to joy, I accept all imperfections. Celebrating that I can create this, I heal. I giggle. Carrying the stars in his memories, and mountains, there are always horizons. What a joy it is to have a peaceful space to dream."
