"Walking around my neighborhood I never know what corner, color or texture will grab my eye and inspire me to start a piece of art. This painting owes its generation to a the peeling paint on a dumpster across the street from my apartment that I found beautiful one day. I love the transformative quality of this piece of art because the original spark arose from garbage and transformed into something quite captivating, and maybe even relatable."
