80's Rainbow
"Some of us remember the 1980s as big hair, wild clothing, 'Miami Vice' and of course, all things pastel. When I created this painting, I wanted to create an abstract rainbow after seeing a double rainbow outside my window. With Phil Collins playing in the background, it was the perfect setup to go backward in time. Thus, I chose an 80s color theme. The triangle represents the disconnect now from that era and the groove is the attempt to get back into it."
