Ode to Peaches
"The state of Georgia is fondly referred to as The Peach State. The symbol of the Georgia peach is widespread, showing up on “I Voted” stickers, the logo imagery of so many local businesses, over an over on streets named with variations of Peachtree, and even the world famous annual Peachtree Road Race. Yet somehow, in almost 10 years living in Georgia I’ve not encountered an actual peach tree (yet), which intrigued me to visually explore and offer tribute to this statewide treasure."
