"Meaning: Spring in Texas is a beautiful season. This work is made from a photo I took while driving through the Hill Country during bluebonnet season. Process: I took this photo and worked on it many, many times in Photoshop. the natural light and color did not seem striking enough, so I played with color, saturation, light, vibrance on multiple layers and adjusted the opacity and layer options of different layers to compare different versions. I also experimented with some texture; the oil paint on in Photoshop and the abstract one on optics. The final version is the result of many, many different variations, with adjustments made, sky colors changed and different layers combined tg create the final version. Inspiration: Bluebonnet season is always a popular time to travel in the Hill Country in Texas to view fields full of bluebonnets and much other interesting and beautiful nature. Content: I took this photo from a car while driving through a beautful natural area in Texas Hill Country."
