"Loose black amorphous linear structures drop from the sky and drift to the ground. There’s a moody, layered background that is interrupted by some greenish-blue focal areas, while bits of red provide a bit of accent color. Techniques include painting, drawing, dragging, scraping, markmaking, and layering. This piece along with the other pieces in the Gravity Series and a work entitled Flight! are deeply personal and meaningful pieces inspired by my sister's terminal illness."
