Damiano Austin (she/her/hers) is a Seattle-based artist known for capturing vibrant moments and translating life’s contrasts into mixed-media art and photography. Her creative journey, profoundly shaped by personal resilience, took on new layers after a rare health diagnosis in 2016, leading her to reflect deeply on the fragility of life and pour that honesty into her art. Inspired by artists like Warhol and Basquiat, Damiano’s work uses color and form to capture what she describes as “the vibe” of unique moments, blending urban landscapes with introspective textures.
Damiano’s photographs create an immersive experience that invites viewers to feel the beauty in everyday surroundings. Recently, Damiano expanded her creative toolkit by earning an FAA Part 107 pilot’s license, enabling her to explore aerial photography. This new perspective enriches her artistic process, allowing her to blend ground-level cityscapes with sweeping, elevated views.
Her dream is to continue creating immersive art experiences & corporate art that resonate on a global scale, making viewers pause and reflect on the moments that shape our lives.
